Can Photoshoppers go too far???

After watching the videos, I caught a lot of good points. One of the many points was that photoshop isn’t always a good thing because sometimes it can really take away the meaning of the actual photo. For example one mouse click can change the colour of an image to make it look vintage or brighter. It can also be used to remove objects that you may find annoying in your photo or even combine two different photos to make one whole picture. I think that photoshop is best used for retouching photos, like removing objects that bother you such as a lamp post that is behind you or a kite that is randomly flying in the air. It also could be best used for art pieces and projects. To me I think that there is a line that you shouldn’t cross when you are photoshopping and that is going too far. For example don’t make drastic changes when you are photoshopping to the point where you or the view looks very different to how it looks in real life because you may make someone think that you look that way or a place stunning but in reality you or that place don’t look that way at all. Any kind of editing is great, but many people overuse it and in my opinion photoshop should only be used for little adjustments.

In this photo, it shows two different photos. The one on the left is a before picture and the one on the right is an after picture. You can really tell which photo was photoshopped. These two pictures are the same person, but the one on the right was photoshopped too much. You can tell because the original person has short hair, but the photoshopped one has long hair and it pops out more. Her skin also pops more when it was photoshopped and they even added a bit of makeup. This shows that photoshoppers can go way too far.
